A-STAR Lab Attends the 2026 SAGES Annual Meeting

From March 24-27, 2026, members of the A-STAR Lab attended the annual conference of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), held in Tampa, Florida.
Dr. Simon J. Laplante, founder of the A-STAR Lab, and Dr. Abdulrahman Alomar, research fellow in the A-STAR Lab, represented the team at the meeting. Their attendance provided an opportunity to engage with leaders in minimally invasive surgery, explore emerging innovations in surgical technology, and connect with colleagues advancing the future of surgical care.
